Route No 18 The fickle-San Esteban de la Sierra-El Tornadizos

circular route of about 14 km, from the fickle to San Esteban de la Sierra via Rando Bridge, returning by the margin Alagon river left. This march took place on January 15, 2011, the day was sunny but cold and wind accompanied us throughout the day. Let
flank the Alagon River valley in its middle-high pass from the 890 m altitude in the fickle to 628 m of San Esteban de la Sierra. We accompany
vegetation with outstanding oak, ash, chestnut, broom, thyme and gorse in the initial section (floor supra) to be replaced by oaks, oaks, madrone, durum and thickets in the thermal areas (meso) . Flanking rivers and streams found alders and willows, in some places forming small gallery forests. The predominant crop in the area are the vineyards, we also find olives, cherry, fig and fruit trees in general. They also frequent the fields with ash in the end of the fickle.
